Support Periapsis Music and Dance:

We can’t do it without you! Donations help us create and rehearse our artistic works, build our repertoire, produce our events, provide service programs to the artistic community, and more.

At a time when arts support is at risk of government and institutional cutbacks, when cost of living continues to rise, artists are particularly vulnerable. Creating new artistic works is a time- and energy-intensive endeavor for all involved, and though it is a labor of love, our artists are professionals. The time, focus, and considerable talent they devote to their artistic work through rehearsals and performances is their livelihood, and we are determined to be a positive force in the professional artistic community. By supporting us, you are supporting a healthier arts ecosystem for everybody!

Artists’ Circle and Producers’ Circle

This is a unique philanthropic opportunity to directly underwrite the creation of our new repertoire works.  When you see the work in concert or on video, you will know that it was your contribution that helped it come into being.  Artists’ Circle donations cover a substantial portion of the costs of creating or reviving a specific piece.  This could involve: commissioning the choreographer and/or composer, rehearsal time for the dancers and musicians, performance fees, and associated costs (such as costumes, sets, and studio rental).

In return for directly helping us create new repertoire, Artists’ Circle donors will receive a “made possible by” (or similar) credit or dedication in performance programs of the work and may also receive: recognition in the repertoire section of our website; recognition in the musical score; a signed, printed copy of the musical score; video of the piece; an invitation to a rehearsal; a signed photo from the work; and complimentary tickets to the premiere.

Producers’ Circle offers similar recognition, but you would be supporting a full event or season production. These contributions are available at different amounts, scaled to the work they are supporting and the scope of the support.  Please contact us to learn more!

The social media algorithms are against us! Okay, not really, but they increasingly favor the big advertisers, making it hard for small organizations to break through. Help us get noticed by following, liking, and sharing, and tell your friends about the wonderful work we’re doing!
